In The Studio

Gene Salyer of the Georgia Big Band dropped by the studio recently and added a tasteful woodwind solo on a new bossa nova style number. 

Salyer has performed in the AF Academy Falconaires and has backed up celebrities,
such as Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr and others. He played with the USAFA Falc's from 1969 - 1977.  In 1977 he became the leader of the "Moods in Blue" show band.

While with the Falconaires: 1970 recorded for "Thunderbirds The Movie" (Las Vegas).   1969 recorded with Mark Lindsay, Steve Alaimo, Keith Allison, Jeff Thomas, Guess and Abner (Capitol Records & RCA in Hollywood).  1970 recorded with Johnny Smith. 1970-1973, recorded "Sketches" album with Herb Ellis, Dick Nash, & Sammy Nestico.   Played With:   Sammy Davis Jr, Bob Hope, Clark Terry, Terry Gibbs, Roy Burns, Ed Shaughnessy.  Recorded with Rosemary Clooney, Donna Summers, Irene Kral, Kim Richmond and Anna Marie Alberhetti.  In 1974 he did a concert with Bob Hope.   In 1974 recorded "Graffitti" at Capital Records  in Hollywood with Rosemary Clooney and Irene Kral.  After hearing the Falc's this same year, Henry Mancini endorsed the album.Some recordings were in Hollywood at Capitol Studios for the Seranade in Blue Show and in Las Vegas for Las Vegas Sound. The album "Graffitti" has been advertised and sold on E Bay

This is Fall's first single release with Rolling Twin Hills Publishing and Apical Records, which was released online digitally on August 27th 2011 through Cdbaby.

 Eight musicians shared their gifted talent for this production, Roland Fall - vocal,  rhythm guitar, & harmonica; Tom Gordon - electric bass, rhythm guitar, and backup vocal; Cory Williams - saxophone; Chris Crider - lead guitar; Hugh Hession - keyboard; Ernest "Tonto" Reid - drums; Mary Ann Thames - violin; & Sara Wallace Lyme - cello.

 This song is dedicated to especially those who suffered the tragic event on September 11th and we are glad to be able to provide this, as it concludes with a positive message of healing and hope.
